The Difference between RLE and ICL vs. LASIK
EVO ICL and Custom Lens Replacement solve different vision challenges. EVO ICL adds a lens and leaves your natural lens in place, which makes it the right choice for younger eyes with a high prescription or a cornea that isn't suited to laser. Custom Lens Replacement removes the natural lens and replaces it, which makes it the right choice once the natural lens has begun to age, typically after 45, when near vision starts to change. Compared with LASIK, both procedures bypass the limits of the cornea: there's no tissue removed and no upper limit set by corneal thickness.
